When I rolled up to their location site, the fog was thick. There was such a romantic & moody feel, as everything was being put together and it was as if the ceremony spot was just floating in a cloud. It was truly dreamy and their love story is like something out of a fairy tale.
Lindsay and Robert are the kind of couple, who, when you meet them, you feel instantly connected to them. There's a love between them that you can not only see but feel. Honestly, it feels good and refreshing to be around them. There's a vibrance and a warmth that just exudes off of them and I am so blessed to have crossed paths with this dynamic duo. All their other vendors shared my same thoughts. They're just a super genuine and sweet couple. The way they looked at one another all day and even during their engagement session was so beautiful.
So, I bet you are wondering how these two met...
Robert lived in Germany and Lindsay got the travel bug and decided to travel abroad and move to Europe. How amazing is THAT, guys!? I wish had that kind of sense of adventure in my younger years. I wish I could have just up and left everything and everyone I knew to pursue that kind of wild dream. I was in true 'awe' listening to her tell me how she moved there and learned the language. Truly amazing.
On April 8, 2011 at 11:45p, this vibrant and gorgeous red head exchanged phone numbers with this tall and handsome man in a local bar in Bremen, Germany. Their first date took place a week later, on a random Tuesday evening. There was a slight language barrier between them; however, it was quite apparent between the two of them that there was an incredible connection and they quickly became inseparable.
On September 13th, Lindsay and Robert took a major step in their relationship and decided to move in together. They shared an apartment in Hamburg, Germany.
In April of 2016, the duo made the decision to move to the US. Florida quickly became the couple's new home. Once they were all settled in, on August 27th 2016, Robert surprised Lindsay with a romantic getaway to Melbourne, FL. This is where he popped the BIG question and she, of course, said 'yes.'
After 7 years, 9 months, 26 days, and more than 65 trips (let that sink in, guys, they are seriously WORLD TRAVELERS ::swoon::) to different locations around the world, they tied the knot on February 3rd 2019.

All of the details of their wedding followed a 'travel' theme. It was amazing how everything was tied in to how they met and who they are as a couple. Their wedding day looked like something straight out of a magazine.
